TransBrasil Airlines was a Brazilian airline that operated from 1955 to 2001. It was founded by Omar Fontana and initially operated as a business charter service. In the 1970s, TransBrasil began expanding its operations and became one of the largest airlines in Brazil.
TransBrasil Airlines offered both domestic and international flights, with destinations across South America, North America, and Europe. The airline was known for its distinctive blue and white livery and its slogan, "Excellence in Motion."
However, TransBrasil faced financial difficulties in the 1990s, leading to a decline in its operations. The airline filed for bankruptcy in 2001 and ceased all flights. Today, TransBrasil Airlines is no longer in operation.
