Southern Winds Airlines was an airline based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It operated primarily domestic flights within Argentina and also offered some international routes to neighboring countries such as Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
The airline was founded in 1996 and initially operated as a low-cost carrier. However, it eventually transitioned into a full-service airline offering both economy and business class cabins.
Southern Winds Airlines faced financial difficulties in the early 2000s and eventually ceased operations in 2005. The airline's fleet of Boeing and McDonnell Douglas aircraft was grounded, and it filed for bankruptcy.
Despite its relatively short lifespan, Southern Winds Airlines was known for its punctuality and customer service.
