Mesaba Airlines was a regional airline based in Eagan, Minnesota, United States. It was founded in 1944 and operated as a regional affiliate of Northwest Airlines. Mesaba Airlines primarily operated flights to smaller cities in the United States and Canada.
In 2011, Mesaba Airlines was merged with Pinnacle Airlines and Colgan Air to form a new regional airline called Endeavor Air. Endeavor Air continued to operate regional flights for Delta Air Lines under the Delta Connection brand. However, in 2018, Delta Air Lines announced that Endeavor Air would no longer operate under the Delta Connection brand and would become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines.
In 2019, Endeavor Air completed the transition and ceased to operate as an independent airline. Consequently, Mesaba Airlines no longer exists as an individual airline.
