Germanwings

  • Germanwings was a low-cost airline based in Germany that operated from 2002 to 2015. It was a subsidiary of Lufthansa and primarily operated flights within Europe. Germanwings offered affordable fares and aimed to compete with other low-cost carriers in the region. However, in 2015, Germanwings was integrated into Eurowings, another subsidiary of Lufthansa, and ceased operating as a separate airline.
