Abacus International Airlines was a multinational airline alliance based in Singapore. It was established in 1988 and was a partnership between Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, and Malaysia Airlines. Its main purpose was to provide seamless travel and global connectivity to passengers through codeshare agreements and coordinated schedules.
However, in 2014, Abacus International Airlines merged with another airline alliance called the Star Alliance. The merger formed a stronger and more extensive global network, allowing passengers to access a wider range of destinations and benefits.
Today, Abacus International Airlines no longer exists as an independent entity, but its legacy and achievements have contributed to the growth and development of the global airline industry.
